Timeline of Growth

Triton Technologies is created May 1st 2001

On May 1, 2001, Triton Technologies LLC was officially founded in Vernon Connecticut. The company was established following the departure of Trave Harmon’s father from the IT industry, who passed along his existing client base to support the launch. This early momentum allowed Triton to quickly establish itself, adjust pricing models, refine service offerings, and focus exclusively on providing dedicated IT support. This foundational moment marked the beginning of what would become a long-standing commitment to innovation, reliability, and client-centered technology solutions.

50 Clients Reached

In June 2003, Triton Technologies LLC reached a major milestone by securing its 50th active client. Starting with the original three dozen clients handed over at launch, the company steadily expanded through new acquisitions and word-of-mouth growth, particularly among business-focused clients. At this stage, Triton remained a single-person operation, but the continued influx of new clients signaled strong demand and laid the groundwork for future expansion and the eventual formation of a full-service IT team.

First Large 500m+ Client

Triton Technologies secured a major client valued at over 500 million dollars, marking a significant achievement in enterprise service delivery. Leveraging existing APC power and infrastructure certifications, the project involved designing and building a full-scale data center for a nationally recognized television brand. The facility included advanced fire suppression systems, dedicated power management infrastructure, and strict physical access controls. After installation, the system was brought fully online and underwent a live fire suppression test, which was completed with total success. This milestone reinforced Triton’s capability to execute high-stakes infrastructure projects for enterprise-grade clients.

Feb 2005

Opened Offices in Worcester, MA

Triton Technologies LLC relocated its headquarters to 390 Main Street in Worcester Massachusetts. At the time, client growth in Connecticut had plateaued while new business opportunities in Massachusetts were accelerating. The strategic move from Vernon Connecticut to Worcester positioned Triton closer to its expanding client base, improved response times, and allowed for deeper engagement with the growing business community in Central Massachusetts. This relocation marked a key turning point in the company’s regional focus and long-term growth strategy.

March 1, 2005

LLC dissolved, Corp formed.

Triton Technologies LLC was formally dissolved and restructured as Triton Computer Corporation, incorporated in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This strategic transition supported the company's upward growth trajectory and established a stronger corporate foundation for expansion. The shift to a corporate entity aligned with the company’s relocation to Worcester and positioned Triton as a scalable, growth-focused organization. It also allowed for clearer segmentation of services and a more structured framework to support future acquisitions, partnerships, and regulatory compliance.

April, 2005

First International Client

Triton Technologies was brought in by a small-scale manufacturing firm with operations spanning Brazil, Canada, and Mexico following a multi-location acquisition. The organization faced major IT challenges, including unsecured networks, outdated infrastructure, and inconsistent security protocols across borders.

Our team conducted a full network assessment, implemented cybersecurity best practices, and unified their infrastructure under a centralized, secure framework. We deployed endpoint protection, enforced access control policies, and established proactive monitoring to ensure long-term stability.

This engagement highlights Triton’s capability to support international operations through scalable IT services, compliance-focused solutions, and cross-border network remediation.

Sept, 2005

Changes Business Model

Triton Technologies engaged a leading business growth consultancy to guide its transformation from a traditional break-fix IT provider to a fully integrated Managed Services Provider (MSP). This strategic shift was driven by the need for greater scalability, recurring revenue, and proactive client support.

Comprehensive plans were developed, operational frameworks were restructured, and advanced toolsets were acquired to support 24/7 monitoring, automation, and endpoint management. Existing clients were successfully migrated to the new model, benefiting from enhanced service delivery, predictable costs, and faster response times.

August 2009

Moved to 340 Main Street

Following the acquisition of the building at 390 Main Street in Worcester, Triton Technologies identified an opportunity to support continued growth by relocating just two buildings down to 340 Main Street. The move provided expanded space, improved infrastructure, and better accommodations for staff and operations. This relocation supported the company's scaling efforts and reinforced its long-term commitment to downtown Worcester as a central hub for client service and corporate development.

June 2012

Investment in Expansion

Triton Technologies received strategic funding to support company-wide expansion efforts, marking a significant milestone in our growth journey. With new capital in place, we hired specialized technical staff and appointed dedicated business managers to lead regional development, client engagement, and service delivery.

This investment enabled us to accelerate our infrastructure plans, enhance client support capabilities, and extend our footprint into new markets. The expansion reflects our ongoing commitment to innovation, service excellence, and long-term value for our customers.

Feb 2013

Moved to Harvard Street

Triton Technologies successfully relocated its headquarters to 35 Harvard Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, marking a pivotal step in the company’s continued growth. The new location provided increased space to support expanding operations, accommodate new team members, and invest in upgraded infrastructure.

With this move, we hired additional staff, modernized our internal systems, and enhanced our ability to deliver faster, more efficient IT services to clients across the region. The expanded facility reflects our long-term commitment to service excellence, operational scalability, and regional economic growth.

March 2013

Additional Staff

As part of our ongoing growth, Triton Technologies expanded its team to strengthen both technical capabilities and business operations. We hired two experienced IT technicians to support increasing service demand, along with a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth initiatives.

To improve daily operations and client response times, we also welcomed a dedicated Office Manager and a full-time Dispatch Coordinator. These key hires enhance our ability to deliver efficient, client-focused managed IT services while supporting future scalability.

May 2013

Office Expansion and Additional Hiring

Triton Technologies began a major office expansion project that doubled the size of our physical workspace to meet growing operational needs. This milestone marked a turning point in our service capacity and internal efficiency.

To support our expanding client base and ensure continued excellence in service delivery, we also hired additional IT technicians. The expanded facility provided room for new infrastructure, collaborative workspaces, and future team growth. It laid the foundation for the next phase of our managed IT services delivery.

March 2015

Providence RI Offices Open

In August 2016, Triton Technologies opened an additional office in Providence Rhode Island to comply with state requirements for clients in the medical and environmental industries. This expansion allowed us to better serve regulated organizations by providing local support, faster response times, and compliance with industry-specific in-state operational mandates.

August 2016

Funding Sources for Expansion

In March 2017, Triton Computer Corp secured new funding and began collaborating with growth specialists to accelerate client acquisition. This partnership supported a rapid increase in high-value client segments, refined our hiring practices, and advanced our approach to managed IT compliance. These strategic improvements positioned Triton for scalable growth and stronger service delivery across regulated industries.

March 2017

Acquisition of DOD Contractors

In April 2017, Triton Technologies acquired a major Department of Defense contractor through its partnership with growth specialists. This engagement marked a strategic shift in focus toward data security, regulatory compliance, and meeting strict Department of Defense guidelines. As a result, several smaller defense contractors joined within the same month, driving accelerated growth in the government and defense sector.

April 2017

National Brand Acquisition

In February 2019, Triton Technologies acquired a national brand specializing in distributed Wi-Fi, expanding our operations into wireless long-range communication systems. The brand brought us in to meet deployment minimums and compliance guidelines when their internal staff could not support the scale. This opportunity led to the rollout of extensive Wi-Fi infrastructure across multiple regions and provided our team with advanced training in satellite and microwave communications.

Feb 2019

Financially Services Client Acquired

In December 2019, Triton Technologies acquired a major financial services client with operations in the European Union, the Caribbean, and the Asia Pacific region. The company had previously worked with an industry-leading managed service provider, but after a thorough analysis, it was clear that critical services were not being delivered as required. Triton implemented a full suite of AWS cloud services, enabling seamless collaboration across all international branches and improving system reliability, performance, and centralized management.

December 2019

Covid Hits

In March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic forced widespread transitions to remote work. Fortunately, Triton Technologies had been advocating for cloud-based operations and secure remote access for years. That preparation proved critical. In February 2020, a new client was onboarded and scheduled for a three-month infrastructure rollout. As the shutdowns began, Triton completed the entire migration in just three days, moving the client's systems into Amazon Web Services and deploying hundreds of virtual workspaces while maintaining full compliance, security, and access controls.

In the days that followed, dozens of existing clients were rapidly migrated to the cloud or provided with new firewall-based VPN solutions to maintain business continuity. As a certified Sophos Partner, Triton was able to deploy advanced firewall and endpoint protections quickly, ensuring secure connectivity, ease of use, and uninterrupted operations during a period of extreme uncertainty.

March 2020

New Cannabis Client

In April 2020, Triton Technologies acquired the top cannabis vertical in Massachusetts as a client, securing IT management for over 60 percent of the state's cannabis retail, cultivation, and distribution operations. This partnership introduced Triton to a highly regulated industry with strict compliance, security, and data handling requirements. Our success in delivering reliable, secure, and compliant solutions led to rapid recognition within the industry. Over the following three years, Triton gained many additional cannabis clients, solidifying our position as a trusted IT provider for licensed cannabis operations across multiple regions.

April 2020

First International Employee's

In August 2020, Triton Technologies hired its first international employee based in Ireland. Alongside this milestone, a small marketing firm that had supported Triton over the years was formally acquired, and its staff were transitioned to direct employment under Triton Technologies. This strategic move enhanced our in-house capabilities and led to the full redesign of company websites, updated marketing materials, improved brand messaging, and a more consistent presence across social media and digital platforms.

August 2020

Cannabis Facility Design

In January 2021, Triton Technologies was brought in to lead facility development projects within the cannabis industry. Leveraging our growing reputation and proven track record for delivering secure and scalable IT infrastructure, two licensed Class IX and above cannabis cultivators selected Triton to design, plan, and build the networks for their new facilities. These opportunities arose after competitors recognized the superior level of service Triton was delivering across the industry.

Our team produced detailed blueprints, managed network planning, and executed full infrastructure deployments. As a result, two large-scale cultivation sites were completed and operational within six months, with a third facility finalized by month nine. All three remain in full-scale operation and continue to expand as Triton supports new regional growth and ongoing industry innovation.

Jan 2021

Albany NY Offices Opened

Triton Technologies opened a new office in Albany New York to comply with state cannabis regulations requiring contractors and ancillary service providers to maintain a physical in-state presence. This strategic expansion not only satisfied compliance requirements but also supported rapid client growth in the region. In addition to cannabis-related businesses, Triton began serving hotel chains and hospitality clients throughout the Albany area. The new office was fully staffed with local employees to ensure dedicated support, faster response times, and a stronger regional presence.

February 2021

Remote Employees Hired

In October 2021, Triton Technologies expanded its workforce by hiring multiple remote employees across several states in the United States. At the same time, the Dublin Ireland office was reconfigured to better support early-morning requests from European clients. Because Triton operates entirely in the cloud, including phone systems, email, and remote management tools, this growth was seamless and efficient. By partnering with a new payroll provider, we were also able to accelerate onboarding and support our rapid expansion with ease.

October 2021

Retooling and Cleanup

In January 2022, Triton Technologies began a year-long company-wide transformation focused on consolidating vendors, refining internal processes, and overhauling operational methodologies. This strategic initiative marked a major pivot point in the company’s history. As part of the effort, Triton removed legacy partners and distributors who no longer aligned with its growth objectives and established new relationships with international distributors and strategic partners who supported a global expansion strategy.

The overhaul included streamlined service delivery models, automation of key business functions, pricing structure improvements, and a full inventory of services and procedures documented in a centralized system. This transformation not only reduced operating costs but also laid the foundation for scalable growth. The changes positioned Triton Technologies for faster onboarding, more competitive offerings, and a stronger presence in both domestic and international markets over the years that followed.

Jan 2022

International Expansion

In March 2023, Triton Technologies completed a reverse acquisition of its former growth partner and brought all development personnel in-house as full-time employees. This strategic move strengthened internal capabilities and accelerated product and service innovation. During the same period, Triton formally registered with local governments and opened offices in the British Virgin Islands and Dublin Ireland, expanding its international footprint.

These developments caught the attention of Microsoft, which granted Triton Technologies and its affiliated entities a global licensing agreement. This milestone allows Triton to provision and manage Microsoft licenses for clients worldwide through any approved service provider, with the exception of restricted countries such as China, North Korea, and Iran. The global license simplifies procurement, enhances compliance, and supports seamless client onboarding across multiple jurisdictions.

March 2023

New AI

In January 2024, Triton Technologies continued its efforts to transition away from legacy partners and strengthen relationships with new technology providers. As part of this evolution, an internal AI system was brought online to explore ways to improve efficiency. Although the initial platform was not yet ready to support large-scale growth, it sparked a critical idea.

The AI was integrated into endpoint devices installed at client locations, enabling Triton to securely access and manage networks without interfering with core production systems. This deployment allowed the AI to handle routine and repetitive tasks autonomously. As a result, Triton achieved a measurable 15 percent reduction in internal labor costs by automating functions that were previously performed manually. This milestone marked the beginning of a new phase in intelligent service delivery and set the stage for deeper AI integration across client environments.

Jan 2024

New Acquisition

February 2024, Triton Technologies acquired a small managed services provider based in Worcester Massachusetts, bringing approximately two dozen new clients into the Triton network. This company had been a long-standing peer in the local IT community and, after years of collaboration and mutual respect, chose Triton as their trusted successor. The acquisition was seamless, allowing clients to benefit immediately from Triton’s advanced infrastructure, broader service offerings, and commitment to responsive, secure IT support.

AI Maturity

In October 2024, after several months of focused development, Triton Technologies launched a new AI-driven project aimed at unifying all previously disconnected systems into a centralized control platform. This initiative allowed the company’s remote management tools, ticketing system, and internal processes to communicate seamlessly for the first time. The unified system could generate reports, resolve billing discrepancies, and intelligently navigate service delivery using real-time data.

By leveraging existing internal systems, the AI also learned to interpret the company’s knowledge base and support methodologies. It began producing automatic documentation that reflected both perceived issues and actual resolutions, reducing the need for manual input. The platform remained in controlled testing until every critical function was validated and stable, ensuring it could support long-term scalability and operational integrity.

Final Stages of AI Integration

In December 2024, Triton Technologies completed the final phase of AI integration across its infrastructure. All core systems including ticketing, documentation, billing, and automation were consolidated into a unified operational platform named Axiom. This integration allowed previously disconnected services to communicate and function together, streamlining internal workflows and simplifying client service delivery.

Axiom entered a 60-day test phase. Within the first 30 days, it identified and resolved multiple micro-issues while uncovering vendor billing discrepancies, including excess charges, outdated fees, and improper tax applications. This led to a successful recovery of previously misallocated funds and initiated changes in billing practices across several vendors.

To support ongoing billing oversight, Triton Technologies launched a new standalone AI system named Dixie. Dixie is solely responsible for monitoring and handling inbound billing issues from vendors. It continuously analyzes transactions, flags irregularities, and enforces vendor accountability. While legacy vendors often required corrective action, newer partners adapted quickly to the standards Dixie now enforces as part of Triton's evolving automation strategy.

December 2024

Acquisition in Boston

January 2025, Triton Technologies acquired a long-time partner managed services provider based in Boston Massachusetts. This MSP had worked closely with Triton for several years, and the acquisition transferred all of their managed clients into Triton's care, resulting in a significant boost in service volume and market presence. The former owner joined Triton as a Business Development lead focused on client acquisition and strategic growth. Existing staff from the acquired company remained in Boston, and all official addresses were consolidated under Triton Technologies’ established Boston office. This acquisition further strengthened our footprint in the Massachusetts market and reinforced our commitment to smooth, client-centered transitions.

Service Scheduling and Quantification Handed Over

February 2025, Triton Technologies fully transitioned its service delivery, knowledge base, scheduling, and automated processes to its AI-driven system. This shift marked a groundbreaking leap in operational efficiency. Tasks that once took an average of two hours to process after ticket creation were now being completed in just 11 seconds. With automated scheduling and streamlined end-user interaction, the total time from ticket submission to scheduled resolution dropped to under five minutes.

This dramatic improvement shattered the industry standard of 24-hour response times and set a new benchmark for managed IT services. All performance metrics are actively monitored through Triton’s internal KPI systems and verified by a third-party analyst to ensure transparency, consistency, and continuous service excellence.

February 2025

AI Delegation and Vacation

April 2025, for the first time in 13 years, CEO Trave Harmon took a two-week vacation. This decision followed the full deployment of Triton Technologies' custom-built AI, which had been operating independently since early March without any manual modifications or inputs. During this autonomous test period, the AI achieved a 99 percent service resolution accuracy, streamlining internal operations and eliminating a significant volume of repetitive technician tasks.

The vacation was intentionally scheduled in a remote location with minimal or no communication access to test the AI's ability to manage operations in the absence of executive oversight. Upon return, system performance was reviewed and showed 98.4 percent automation accuracy. The remaining tasks were resolved by internal staff, confirming that the segmentation and delegation of service responsibilities to AI was both effective and reliable. This milestone validated the long-term investment in AI development and marked a new era of autonomous service delivery for the organization.
