Computer Support and Services for Worcester Businesses

Business Computer Support From Harvard Street

Triton Technologies provides computer support and computer services to Worcester businesses from our office at 35 Harvard Street, where we have operated since 2001. We set up, secure, maintain and support the computers your staff depend on, from a single laptop to every workstation in a multi-location business.

When a computer stops working, you reach a dispatch desk and a technician who already knows your setup, not a call center reading a script. We fix it remotely when we can and come on site when we should.

What Our Computer Support Covers

Every managed computer support agreement covers the devices your team uses and the work that keeps them running:

  • Windows and Apple computers, phones and tablets, and the business applications you run
  • Setup and provisioning of new computers, and onboarding and offboarding of users
  • Overnight maintenance, updates and patching on a schedule you approve
  • Security agents and monitoring on every managed computer, around the clock
  • On-site support for hardware failures, new equipment and office moves, with no per-visit charge
  • Printers on the software and security side, coordinated with your managed print vendor
  • Hardware lifecycle tracking, warranty claims and procurement
  • Working directly with your software and service vendors, so problems get solved instead of passed around

How a Computer Support Request Works

Every request follows the same path, whether it is a frozen laptop or a new hire who needs a computer on Monday.

  1. Ask any way you like. Phone, email, text message, Microsoft Teams, Slack, our client portal or our website. Requests are received around the clock.
  2. Triage in about a minute. Our AI reads each request within about 60 seconds, checks whether it is a known or recurring problem and flags repeats for a permanent fix.
  3. A person takes it. A dedicated dispatch person watches every ticket all day. The average time from a new ticket to first touch is 4.2 minutes, and our stated target is 30 minutes.
  4. Fixed remotely or on site. Most problems are fixed remotely. When hands are needed, a technician comes the same day or the next business day, scheduled so they have the time the job really takes.
  5. Documented for next time. Every fix goes into our knowledge base, so the next person who sees the problem already knows the answer.

New Computers, Ready on Day One

We buy, set up and track the computers your business uses. Give us 24 hours’ notice for a new employee and we set up and verify their accounts and licenses, often within a few hours. When someone is leaving, a heads-up in advance lets us work with HR and remove access on schedule.

New computers usually take about a week, because supply changes and we check which distributors have the right model in stock. Computers we already hold on site are reformatted and ready to provision, so an urgent hire does not wait.

Maintained While Your Office Is Closed

Most of our work happens when nobody is using the computers. Software we built runs maintenance, updates, upgrades and cleanups overnight, roughly 8 PM to 5 AM, so your staff start the day on machines that are patched and running cleanly.

Fridays are read-only for major changes. We do not push large upgrades at the end of the week, when a bad update could leave your team without working computers over the weekend.

Printers, Phones and the Other Vendors

Computers do not work alone. We handle printers on the software and security side, and most printer hardware is covered by a managed print contract with another vendor, so we work with that vendor directly. The same goes for your phone system, access control and line-of-business software.

We do not do finger-pointing meetings. When a problem sits between two vendors, we get everyone working on the fix, because what matters is that your people can get back to work.

Hardware That Is Tracked, Not Forgotten

Lifecycle tracking

We keep track of every managed computer, so aging hardware is planned for and replaced on your schedule instead of failing in the middle of a busy week.

Warranty claims

When hardware fails under warranty, we diagnose it and handle the claim with the manufacturer, so your staff do not spend their day on hold.

Procurement

We source the right models from distributors that have them in stock, and set them up before they reach the employee’s desk.

Why Local Computer Support Matters

Some computer problems need hands on the hardware: a failed drive, a new docking station, an office move. Our technicians work from downtown Worcester, so a site visit is a short drive, not a scheduling exercise.

We do not use support tiers or escalations. Every technician works every kind of ticket, and hard problems are solved as a team, so you are not re-explaining the problem to a new person each time.

Worcester Computer Support: Common Questions

Setting up, securing, maintaining and supporting the computers your staff use every day: Windows and Apple computers, phones and tablets, and the business applications on them, plus overnight maintenance, patching, on-site visits, new-user setup, warranty claims and hardware lifecycle tracking.

For the businesses we support, yes. We diagnose the problem remotely or on site, handle the warranty claim with the manufacturer and, where needed, set up a replacement computer so your employee can keep working.

Yes. We support Apple computers, mobile devices and almost every business application. When a software vendor controls its own product, we work with that vendor to solve the problem.

We handle printers on the software and security side: drivers, scanning, connections and access. Most printer hardware is covered by a managed print contract with another vendor, and we work with that vendor so you get one working solution.

Usually the same day or the next business day, depending on the need. Most visits are scheduled with you at the best time, so the technician has the time the job actually requires.

With 24 hours’ notice we set up and verify a new employee’s accounts, often within a few hours. New computers usually take about a week to arrive; computers we already have on site are reformatted and ready to provision.

No. On-site support has no per-visit charge under a managed IT agreement.

Most small issues are handled the next business day. A true emergency, such as the whole network down or a ransomware attack, gets an after-hours response for all clients, billed hourly.

By phone, email, text message, Microsoft Teams, Slack, our client portal or our website. A dedicated dispatch person watches every request, and the average time from a new ticket to first touch is 4.2 minutes.

How Triton Delivers

The Sophos XDR Mandate

We deploy Sophos Firewalls as the non-negotiable perimeter standard. Any firm operating without synchronized endpoint protection is an insurance liability. Sophos Endpoint (EDR/XDR) is the mandatory internal security layer.

AWS Scalability

We deploy on AWS because downtime is not an option. When a critical system goes down, AWS support responds with enterprise urgency, not a ticket queue. Every dollar of downtime is a dollar your IT provider owes you an answer for.

The AI Autonomous Advantage

Axiom, Triton’s proprietary AI monitoring system, gives our engineers real-time visibility that off-the-shelf tools cannot replicate. It is not for sale, it is how we deliver.
